Q: Can I create my own menu?

A: Yes. Our food and beverage experts will be happy to create a menu that reflects your wishes.


Q: Can I taste all the food before the wedding?

A: Of course. A complete tasting of all the selected menu items, including your cake, will be scheduled several weeks prior to your wedding. We can make any necessary adjustments at that time.


Q: How long will my reception last?

A: A wedding reception is generally planned for five hours, with one hour for Cocktail Hour and four hours for Dinner and Dance. You can extend the time if desired. Your wedding specialist will advise you on any extra costs for the additional time.


Q: Can I have an open bar at the wedding?

A: Yes. You can elect for a limited selection of wine and beer with a selection of signature or top tier cocktails or a cash bar. Your wedding specialist will advise you on the costs and inclusions for each.


Q: Do you have suggested vendors for flowers, music, photography, etc.?

A: Hyatt Regency Boston offers assistance with coordinating ministers/officiates, floral displays, photographers, videographers and entertainment. Talk to your wedding specialist for more details.


Q: Can I host a morning-after brunch or a rehearsal dinner at Hyatt Regency Boston?

A: Certainly. We provide several appropriate locations for these occasions.


Q: Are taxes and gratuities included in the pricing?

A: No. Your contract pricing will not include all taxes and gratuities. All Food and Beverage is subject to a Service Charge, Administrative Fee and Sales Tax. Please remember that pricing is not final until a signed contract is returned to your wedding specialist.


Q: Are there day spas nearby for my guests and I to enjoy before the big day?

Q: Can my guests have a late check-out the morning after the wedding?

A: We will try and accommodate your guests’ requests. However, this is dependent on the overall occupancy of the hotel on the day in question. 


Q: Can I decorate the reception room?

A: Yes. But there are certain limitations in some rooms. Your wedding specialist can review these options with you.
